“Saturday Night Live” once again aired on Rep. Matt Gaetz directed during the segment “Weekend Update”.
The Florida congressman was apparently part of an alleged investigation into sex trafficking, although no charges have been filed yet. During this week’s “Weekend Update” on Saturday, host Colin Jost targeted Gaetz over a recent report that he allegedly paid his political Joel Greenberg, who is accused of sexual crimes, through the money-sharing app Venmo.
“Our favorite Florida congressman, Matt Gaetz, is back in the news, but this time it’s good … I’m kidding, it’s still the sex stuff,” Jost began the segment.
“Matt Gaetz, who looks like all the dudes of ‘American Pie’ together, allegedly sent $ 900 on Venmo to an alleged sex trader who passed the same bill to three young women in payments called ‘education’ and ‘school’ ‘,” prosecute. “Which, if true, would make him the only congressman to help with student loans.”

The host then told lambaste Gaetz that he was speaking at a women’s event on Friday night, where he addressed the allegations against him.

“At least Gaetz takes the allegations seriously,” jokes Jost. “That’s why he spoke at the ‘Women for America First’ summit yesterday, which was a good change, to see women pay an hour with Matt Gaetz.”
On the occasion, the fighting congressman, who denied all the allegations against him, promised that he would not resign and believed that he would eventually be justified as soon as the truth came out.
“I may be a canceled man in some corners, I may even be a wanted man by the Deep State, but I hear the millions of Americans who feel forgotten, canceled, ignored, marginalized and targeted,” Gaetz said.
Elsewhere in the “Weekend Update” segment, Jost has targeted President Biden, who recently issued a series of gun control measures that prioritize his administration in addressing gun violence in the country. Among these actions are rules to stop “ghost cannons” assembled by the receiver using spare parts.

I mean, look at him, you can see him in ‘Grand Torino.’ place and no one will know what is different. “
After co-host Michael Che took power to mock Donald Trump and the CDC’s alleged mixed messages about the coronavirus, Jost ended the show with an excavation by New York Governor Andrew Cuomo and the governor of California, Gavin Newsom.
