The faux musical pair joined forces to discuss Lil Nas X’s recent music video “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” and the public’s reaction to the young artist driving a stripper to hell and giving Satan a lap dance. The duo also filed the current lawsuit that Nike filed against the art collective.

“My first guest tonight was attacked by the rare combination of the Catholic Church and Nike,” Fineman said at the top of her show.

The pop star and host asked Redd if the Satan Shoes contained real human blood, as advertised, to which Redd responds: “I do not know why Nike is so crazy. Their whole thing is ‘Just Do It’. Well, I did it. . ‘

When asked what Redd thinks about the outrage people experience and express after watching the music video, he, as Lili Nas X, said it was “because they are closed idiots.”

“People are scared of me because I’m different, but actually I’m just your typical gay, black, country rap, sneaker entrepreneur,” Redd joked.

The mocking Lil Nas X further pointed out that the Satan character in his music video was not the right thing to do, so religious viewers should not be so upset.

“I would say, ‘You know it was not true Satan, right? “It was a guy in a Halloween devil costume because the real Satan does not make music videos,” Redd explained. “So, maybe chill?”

Fineman followed up on his statement by asking if Redd would ‘make things right’ by giving God a lap dance.

“OK, yes, I think,” Redd agreed before a man in a God costume walked onto the stage and sat down on the couch.

Redd jumps up quickly and performs plank hip caps on the coffee table in front of him and the God character while playing club music.

“Merry Easter, everyone!” Fineman cheered along with the audience.
