The furniture house with red bricks is three storeys high and covers about 4182 square feet. It has a brown stone base and a bend.

The sale of the townhouse comes as a surprise as it has not been offered for sale in public.

Privately, however, there have been rumors for almost a year about the sale of the townhouse.

The New York Post reported in January 2020 that the couple had been quietly shopping in the townhouse, which was built around 1905, without officially placing it on the market.

In the two decades they owned the townhouse, Parker and Broderick significantly refurbished it millions of dollars.

This is not the first real estate Parker and Broderick have made in New York in recent years.

In 2016, they bought two townhouses on West 11th Street, which together cost the couple $ 34.5 million. The two townhouses are merged to form one large mansion for the family.

Parker and Broderick have been married for more than 23 years and share three children together: son James and twin daughters Marion and Tabitha.

The couple would play in the Broadway revival of Plaza Suite from April 2020, but it was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The new hope is that the revival will begin in March 2021, depending on when Broadway starts again.
