After winning a second Ear Watch The San Francisco Shock League Championship in 2020 wants fans to know that everything they touch turns to gold. The team’s 2020 championship sheet is today during the Shock vs. The World event unveiled on BlizzConline.
This year’s offer is Midas Roadhog, which is the tank weapons suitable for a king. Roadhog’s belly, which usually features a tattoo, now proudly displays a gold San Francisco Shock logo. He was wrapped in orange scarves and black clothes to represent the colors of the team. Most importantly, all of Roadhog’s normal armor has been changed to gold and his head is set on fire with golden fire.
Last year, the San Francisco Shock’s championship bite was Thunder Doomfist. The Doomfist skin was not as representative of the team as for the pairing games from 2019 Ear Watch League MVP Jay “Sinatraa” Won.
Roadhog was incredibly important during the 2020 Grand Finals, with both the Seoul Dynasty and the San Francisco Shock relying heavily on the hero. Each team built different compositions around Roadhog when the meta switched to a double setup tanks.
No specific release date has been given for the Midas Roadhog skin, but it will be available somewhere during the 2021 season, which starts in April. Last year’s championship cost 200 Ear Watch League tokens and this one will probably cost the same.
