San Francisco extends eligible vaccines to more zip codes, all ages

If you are 16 years and older and live in one of the seven SF postcodes that, according to the city, are ‘neighborhoods with a big impact’ in the pandemic, you can set up a vaccine on the same day at two different vaccination clinics.

Previously, the Southeastern Health Center (2401 Keith Street) in Bayview and the vaccine at SF General were reserved in various postal codes for the elderly. But as of Friday, the Department of Public Health is eligible for anyone 16 years and older living in these zip codes: 94124, 94134, 94107, 94112, 94102, 94103, and 94130.

Previously, the clinics focused on the neighborhoods of Bayview, Mission, Potrero, Tenderloin and Excelsior, but this extension now includes a wide range of SoMa, Hayes Valley and Dogpatch.

The hours at the two clinics are 09:00 to 15:00, seven days a week, vaccines are free, and you do not need an appointment – which will be even more difficult than it already started on the 15th. when everyone in the city is eligible (older than 16).

Run, do not walk, in other words, if you are in one of these zip codes, and stop refreshing MyTurn.gov.

If time is limited and you want to schedule an appointment at one of the two sites, you can also do so by calling 628-652-2700.
