San Diego County says those 75 and older are eligible for COVID-19 vaccine

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) – San Diego County officials announced Monday that COVID-19 vaccines will now be available to those aged 75 and over.

Referring to “a delayed appointment at COVID-19 vaccination sites”, the country confirmed that a change had been made to the suitability requirement.

Land Officer for Public Health, dr. Wilma Wooten, said: ‘Today we undertook this action to add people aged 75 and older because they are at the greatest risk. It remains our intention to extend the vaccines to 65-year-olds during the week of January 25, depending on the availability of vaccines.

The extended requirements will apply to the “superstation” in downtown San Diego and other provinces where coronavirus vaccines are being administered.

Healthcare workers (Phase 1A / All Tiers) and San Diegans 75 years and older (Phase 1B, Level 1) can make appointments to receive vaccinations and are the only groups that can visit a vaccination room.
