Samuel L. Jackson Dons Avengers Mask to Get COVID-19 Vaccine

Samuel L. Jackson posted a photo of himself wearing an Avengers-themed mask while waiting to receive the first dose of his coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe actor posted the photos on Instagram on January 24, along with the caption “At The Forum getting that 1st jab !!” The first photo caught Jackson leaning out of his car and taking a photo of the line he was waiting for outside The Forum in Los Angeles. The second photo was a selfie of the actor in his car with a mask, with animated depictions of Nick Fury, Thor, Captain America, Iron Man and the Hulk.

The Forum is one of several public places in California that have turned into vaccination sites. Disneyland will be one of these five “Super Point-of-Dispensing” sites. Disneyland’s website currently distributes vaccines to eligible recipients who have scheduled appointments through their employer. At this time, the Disneyland website does not accept walk-ups.

Jackson plays SHIELD director Nick Fury at MCU since 2008 Ysterman. The BAFTA Award-winning actor has appeared in 11 MCU films so far. The SHIELD director-centered story is written and executive produced by Kyle Bradstreet. Nick Fury joins other MCU series on Disney +, including WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, Hawkeye, She-Hulk, Ms. Marvel and Moon Knight. The series will appear on Disney + at an unspecified date in the future.

The 72-year-old actor has joined a list of celebrities aged 65 and older who recently received the vaccine, including Steve Martin, Martha Stewart, Joan Collins and Ian McKellan.
