Samsung wins with Clamshell mobile phone chargers for wireless earbuds

It turns out that the big news last week was not that Samsung was finally dropped the bizarre bean design for its wireless earbuds, it’s that the company plans to dominate the ‘kids of the late’ 90s demographic with a drawer cover which camouflages the Galaxy Buds Pro as a retro clamshell phone.

Days after a new product category was announced, accessories for those products began to drip out, and if you’ve been using Apple AirPods for a few years, you’ve probably seen hundreds of ways to decorate and protect their small drawers. But manufacturers of accessories tend to flock to the most popular products and last year’s Samsung Galaxy Buds Live is not yet. This is probably why Samsung itself has created some fun protective cases for the new one outside the gate Galaxy Buds Pro turn the wireless earbuds into a (non-functional) retro Samsung Anycall T100 or Anycall E700 phone.

Some sites report that the covers of the Anycall boot are only available as in-store gifts if the Galaxy Buds Pro earbuds are purchased in person at retail stores in South Korea. But the Samsung website do mention it as an optional add-on if you buy the Galaxy Buds Pro online, adding about $ 30 to the cost of the $ 200 headphones. It’s not exactly cheap; you can actually do quite a few decent but basic wireless buttons for $ 30, but for those of us who got our first cell phones 20 years ago, the nostalgia might be here almost be impossible to resist.
