Samsung really wants you to know that the Galaxy S21 Ultra has the best camera you can buy on a smartphone today. Nowadays, it is not enough that the phone’s photographic capabilities are praised in reviews. You need to meet at their level with consumers, and what will ordinary people hold in 2021 more than an abundance of streaming services? That’s why Samsung is working with Hulu to produce an original reality show called Exposure, in which competitors face photography challenges focused on shooting with – you guessed it – a Galaxy S21 Ultra.

Exposure is not just your current product placement. Samsung is acknowledging that it co-created the series with BBH Entertainment (a subsidiary of the advertising agency BBH). Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith are also involved with Westbrook Media, the digital-focused production company they co-founded. It’s the first of what Hulu hopes to be many brands for its platform, designed to completely deny the need for skipable ads. Given Samsung’s love of advertising on Galaxy phones, it’s not surprising to see that the company is the one launching the initiative.

If you’re interested in getting a preview of the future for streaming media – or if you just want to see how the Galaxy S21 Ultra performs in a branded reality show – Exposure debuted on April 26 on Hulu. For the best viewing experience, make sure you upgrade to Hulu’s ad-free subscription before viewing it.
