Since Samsung first launched The frame television in 2017, the concept has always appealed to a certain design-conscious buyer. Instead of a big ugly black rectangle hanging on the wall, this ‘TV’ looks like a painting, a framed photo or other wall art. The company repeated The Frame years ago, expanding the range of available sizes, expanding the library with available art, and lowering the cabinet even further in the latest version of 2021.

The new frame encloses the wall only 24.9 mm thick, similar to the depth of a typical picture frame. As usual, you can adjust the frame around the image and the new version includes an oblique (“oblique”) option. Third-party frames are also available for The Frame.

Samsung’s Frame TV gets slimmer with more personal …

The frame ranges in size from 32 to 75 inches. The sizes of 32 and 43 inches can also be displayed in portrait mode, instead of horizontally like a traditional TV, but unless you get some sort of fit, there is no way to rotate it automatically, as you would with Samsung can do. The Sero TV.

A paid subscription to Samsung’s art store ($ 5 per month) gives you access to all 1400 artworks from ‘world-famous’ settings, ranging from paintings to photographs, landscapes to abstracts and more. You can also buy pieces separately or display your own photos (or art!) On the screen.

Except for slenderness, Samsung hasn’t done much to improve the picture compared to 2020 versions. The 2021 Frame has 4K resolution, QLED technology with quantum dots and the dual LED backlight structure of the company, which is missing local eclipse. Based on these specifications, we do not expect it to affect the image quality of a standard QLED TV like the Q80T, let alone from Samsung’s new Neo QLED models. Then it is definitely better to upgrade the joint.

Samsung’s 2021 The Frame TVs launch later this year. Exact model names and prices were not disclosed.
