Samsung launches new range of mid-range Galaxy A-series phones earlier this week, but now a new leaked road map may have just revealed what the South Korean technology giant has planned for the rest of the spring and summer.

Suppose the road map, which in a leaked graphics posted by Evan Blass on his Voice page, is legal, we can see that Samsung has a handful of upcoming opportunities and product launches that will be distributed in the next two quarters. Take a look at the generic launch event on March 26 (which will likely include US-specific information for the new Galaxy A52 and A72), we can see a new PC launch event planned for mid-April, the new Tab S7 Lite planned for June, a new 5G phone in July and a Galaxy FE Unpacked event in August.

For me, the two most notable dates on this roadmap are the PC event in April, at which we have a new Galaxy Book Pro and Galaxy Book Pro 360 converter with built-in S Pen support and possibly a 5G version of the Galaxy Chromebook 2, and the Galaxy FE event in August.

Samsung was relatively forthcoming to invest more resources in its computer division, and following two unpacked events for the S21 and Galaxy A series made a lot of sense earlier this year with a PC-based Unpacked event.

If we look at the event for the late summer, the main takeaway is that mid-August usually Samsung announces a new Galaxy Note device. Since the leaked roadmap specifically indicates that the occasion for a new Fan Edition device (probably the S21 FE) will be, it recently speaks that Samsung may not make a new Galaxy Note for 2021 seems even more likely.

However, Samsung co-CEO Ko-Dong-Jim mentioned at a recent shareholders’ meeting that Samsung can always move back the next Galaxy Note launch day, and I would not be surprised if Samsung finally holds back some special devices not (like a new Galaxy Fold or possibly a Galaxy Note) for later in the fall.

Spread among the events listed on the roadmap, Blass said Samsung will also release the Galaxy A82 somewhere this summer, which reportedly contains 5G and features a sort of ‘dual-use’ camera module.

Despite the ongoing crisis plaguing the technology industry, it looks like Samsung is still planning a steady series of releases for 2021 – apart from May, when it looks like the company has nothing important on the calendar. And while this leaked roadmap only mentions phones, tablets and computers, there are likely to be a few other unexpected devices that will appear before the end of the year.
