The Galaxy Buds Pro is one of the best wireless earbuds you can get for your Android phone, and Samsung wants to use it with another special edition. Following the nostalgic retro-flip phones it announced in January, Samsung is releasing one in partnership with Adidas Originals to showcase its environmentally friendly efforts.
This new pair (h / t SamMobile) uses the iconic white and green color of Adidas Stan Smith sneakers. Like the previous special editions, this one also has a crazy case – it has the shape of a snapback cap and is made from recycled plastic. It’s anyone’s guess whether the visor of the snapback will hold up well over time, but it adds at least some functionality in the form of a keyhole.
The earplugs still have the same divisive chrome finish, which is complemented by white plastic around the sides. Completing the collaboration is a custom theme for the entire Adidas Originals system that can be applied to a Galaxy smartphone.
Unfortunately, this special edition Buds Pro is only available in South Korea at a price of 279,000 KRW (~ $ 249). Good luck importing a set if you live elsewhere.
