Samsung is doing co-branding with Adidas as a way to create a bit of buzz around its wireless earphone products while enhancing its eco-friendly bonafides. Sammobile reported. The Galaxy Buds Pro Adidas Original Special Pack (available in South Korea only) comes in a mini sneaker box featuring the classic green and white Stan Smith brand.
It also contains a branded briefcase that looks like a classic snapback cap. Inside, you’ll find Samsung’s Galaxy Buds Pro wireless headphones (which apparently do not have Adidas brands) in a choice between Phantom Black, Phantom Silver and Phantom Violet colors. The package also includes a special coupon to purchase some Stan Smith sneakers.
When you pair the buttons with a Galaxy phone, they unlock a special Adidas Originals theme for the lock screen, icons, messages and call screens. The snapback cover is made from recycled plastic, and the Galaxy Buds Pro itself is made from 20 percent material after consumption.
The Adidas Special Edition Buds Pro goes on sale on April 7 in a limited edition 6,000 units for KRW 279,000 ($ 250). As mentioned, they will only be available in South Korea.
