The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 is expected to be one of Samsung’s biggest phone launches of 2021, and that’s what it might look like.
This design of the following folding phone style from Samsung was posted by user Stellist on the Korean forum Meeco. It’s inspired by the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S21, and looks very good at doing so.
The influence of the Galaxy S21 design is most evident in the camera, which sits in an almost identical hump, with the same overlapping edges. This color combination of purple and bronze also appears on the Galaxy S21, with the probable name “Phantom Violet”.
There are three camera sensors inside this bump, one more than the first model. If the Z Flip 3 apparently has three sensors, it will likely be the same main / ultra-wide / telephoto trio that will be installed on the Galaxy S21 and S21 Plus.
We also see a much larger cover screen than the one on the original Z Flip. The one was just enough to quickly look at notifications or use as a camera viewfinder, but the one is large enough to display a normal lock screen when the phone is folded.
To add detail to this particular design, LetsGoDigital made an impression of what the unfolded inside of the phone might look like. It is almost identical to the Z Flip with its central self-timer camera, although the hinge in the version is less prominent and the rings are narrower than on the real product.
Although it’s been almost a year since the first Galaxy Z Flip was released, the next one is expected to launch in the fall, along with the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 3. We can also see the Galaxy Note 21 appear around this time, what we ‘I also recently designed it with the new camera look.
A recent rumor has it that there will be four foldable Samsung products this year, with another claims that there will be a new cheaper “Z Fold FE” available as well. Since it also includes two Z Flip models, we may see another budget fold in the form of a ‘Z Flip FE’, but there is also the option of a Plus or Ultra variant as Samsung offers for its non-folding flagships.
