The Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus may have been revealed in new leaked images, revealing its layout and the possibility that it could do away with the waterfall curves known in the series – or perhaps so small that it is not rounded off at all.
The photos are courtesy of the leaked Mauri QHD, which tweeted a trio of images showing the front and back of the alleged S21 Plus. The handheld pictured has a punch hole for the selfie camera in the center top of the screen, thin edges, a volume rocker and lock button on the right, and on the back is the triple rear camera series in a cut-out I expected from previous leaks.
S21 +? I never leak photos, but a friend sent them to me, so hello .. pic.twitter.com/npjamUSlTh29 December 2020
The new images are in line with previous leaks of alleged official releases and marketing photos, but this is the first time we’re seeing alleged photos on the front of the phone (a previous one). leak displayed the back of the S21 Plus and S21 Ultra). Although the new photos may be inaccurate, they are consistent with previous rumors enough to indicate that this is the layout we are going to see when the S21 line is announced on January 14th.

What has changed from the S20 to the S21?
We relied heavily on rumors, leaked specs and possible versions to sketch a picture of the upcoming S21 phones, so – assuming the images are accurate – it’s a big problem to get an actual version for the first time of the devices. And … not much has changed from the S20 to S21.
The biggest difference lies in the rear camera package, which apparently holds the 12MP main + 12MP ultrawide + 64MP telephoto trio used in the S20 according to a previous rumor, but may lose the depth sensor during the flight. Maybe it will be made up by software.
Otherwise, the S21 in its main screen may differ from its predecessor, which may lose the curves for which the S-Series is known. It’s hard to see from the new photos, although there’s a vertical reflection line on the sides of the screen that indicates a rounded border.
In any case, the curves look much more subtle than the sides of other phones that use similar ‘waterfall’ designs, such as the Motorola Edge Plus. We will have to wait until more images leak to confirm or refute our suspicion before the phone appears on January 14, 2021.
