There is absolutely no mystery left to Samsung’s expected launch event on January 14 for the Galaxy S21 series. This adds to the avalanche of leaks and rumors we have already seen, a new report from WinFuture the weekend revealed absolutely everything there is to know about the Samsung Galaxy S21 and S21 Plus.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 and S21 Plus are said to feature flat panels that resemble a metal frame. The vanilla S21 will likely have a 6.2-inch Infinity-O Dynamic AMOLED screen, while the S21 Plus will expand it to 6.7 inches. However, the resolution for both is identical at 2400 x 1080 pixels. Both phones also get a refresh rate of 120Hz.
The panels are protected by Corning’s seventh generation Gorilla Glass Victus, previously seen on the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. There is also a fingerprint sensor on the S21 and S21 Plus.
Performance
Under the hood, the new flagships are powered by the Exynos 2100 in Europe and other markets such as India. This is also something that Samsung store officials confirmed to us a few weeks back.
The new Exynos chip will be launched a few days before the phones and is believed to have a 2.9GHz main core, three high-performance cores running up to 2.8 GHz, and four energy-saving cores clocked up to 2.4 GHz word. Of course, in markets like the US, the Galaxy S21 series apparently has the Snapdragon 888 processor.
The base variants for the Galaxy S21 and S21 Plus apparently come with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Both versions probably have 256 GB of storage options available.
Cameras
The latest leak indicates that the image setups for the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21 Plus are identical.
The phones are expected to feature three rear cameras consisting of a 12MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide sensor and a 64MP telephoto sensor with 3x hybrid zoom. It is said that a 10MP camera sits at the front.
Other leaked camera features of the S21 and S21 Plus include support for 8K video recording at 30 fps, 4K at 60 fps and FHD videos at up to 240 fps.
Connections and other specifications
For connectivity, you can expect the Galaxy S21 and S21 Plus to support NFC, Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi 6. The phones are also reportedly IP68 rated for water and dust protection.
The Galaxy S21 is said to get a 4,000mAh battery, and according to the S21 Plus, there is a 4,800mAh battery. Both phones have a USB-C port for wired charging. They also support wireless and reverse wireless charging.
Once again, the report confirms that Samsung will not bring chargers in the box. It also says that the optional S-Pen support is limited to the Galaxy S21 Ultra, as we discovered in an FCC filing.
Samsung Galaxy S21 and S21 Plus prices
As previously leaked, the Samsung Galaxy S21 is expected to cost at least € 849 (~ $ 1,037), while the S21 Plus is said to start at € 1,049 (~ $ 1,281).
