Overall, I really feel that an unboxing done by the company designing, building and marketing a specific device is a bit on the weird side, but it can still be helpful. This is absolutely the case with the latest video that Samsung has released for the upcoming Galaxy Chromebook 2. This is an unboxing in the most technical sense, which serves more as an improved spotlight on the product compared to a video that is actually a kind of gives opinion on the new Chromebook.
Here, little is addressed that has not yet been covered, other than to show some of the exact pieces that are in the actual subject. Oh, you can see that box too. Apart from that, it’s actually just a little more visual candy to watch while we wait for the actual release of the Samsung Galaxy Chromebook 2.
There’s one more thing I picked up from this video, and this is the fact that the lid is apparently opened with a single finger lift. I know it does not matter to many of you out there, but this small feature is a big issue when it comes to weight distribution and overall attention to detail. The Chromebook I directly compete with the Galaxy Chromebook 2 is the Pixelbook Go, and the device has a very satisfying hinge that opens with a single finger. I really hope it’s legally part of the Galaxy Chromebook 2 experience and is an indication of the kind of Chromebook we can expect in Samsung’s latest.
