The Samsung Galaxy Chromebook is a beautiful 13.3-inch Chrome operating system two-in-one with a beautiful AMOLED screen with 4K resolution and a powerful Intel Core i5 processor. It also costs $ 1,000 and has a relatively short battery life compared to some of them cheaper competition. For the second time, the Galaxy Chromebook 2, Samsung has tweaked some features to lower the price – and hopefully improve battery life – with the same premium look and feel as the original.

Announced in advance CES 2021, the new model will be the first with a 13.3-inch QLED screen with a resolution of 1,920×1,080 pixels, which can be found on some Samsung’s Windows 10 laptops. This change alone will help battery life, but Samsung has also dipped into configurations using an Intel 10th-gen Core i3-10110U or Celeron 5205U processors.
The Celeron configuration, which also has 4 GB of memory and 64 GB of memory, is expected to sell for $ 550, while the Core i3 model with twice the memory and storage will cost $ 700. These prices are around £ 400 and £ 515 for the UK, and AU $ 710 and AU $ 900 for Australia.
Much of the rest of the package remains the same as the original, including a weight of less than 3 kilograms (1.2 kg), a thin aluminum chassis, a lighted keyboard and a customizable touchpad. You will also find two USB-C ports, a headphone jack and a microSD card slot.
What you will not find is one of Samsung’s S Pens. While the company’s slim active pen was included with the first generation model, Samsung removed it in favor of USI pen support. The world camera from above the Galaxy Chromebook’s keyboard is also gone. Both seem like acceptable sacrifices to lower the price.
