Samsung Galaxy Buds Live gets automatic switching and hearing aid function

The latest software update for Samsung’s Galaxy Buds Live includes some features found on the newer Buds Pro. The bean-shaped earbuds can now automatically switch between Galaxy phones and tablets with the latest One UI 3.1 software. In addition, users now get the hearing aid feature that amplifies the sounds from outside for those who are hearing impaired. Another new addition is the Buds control menu in the Bluetooth settings.

The update change list also specifies improved audio output, connectivity, and battery optimization. The new R180XXUOAUB5 firmware is currently sowing in South Korea and comes in at 2.2 MB. We expect this version to move to more regions soon, and we also expect a similar update for the Galaxy Buds +, as Samsung has promised to bring the above features to its older TWS earbuds.
