Samsung is not waiting for next week’s CES to launch its 2021 product announcements. On Wednesday, the South Korean electronics giant will stream a virtual version of its annual First Look event. The invitation sent to reporters bothers a ‘new vision for screens’.

Samsung has traditionally used CES as a place to update its televisions, though the invitation suggests that the screens could extend beyond traditional TVs, with silhouettes showing different rectangles in different orientations and designs.

It is possible that the event an American update for Samsung’s 110-inch MicroLED TV offered for sale in Korea in December for the equivalent of $ 156,000. Cheaper QLED models may also be in the pipeline.

When is the event?

The First Look event begins on January 6 at 11:00 ET (08:00 PT).

How can I watch?

We will be running the live stream here on CNET. Samsung will also stream the app on its website as well as on YouTube.

Is this the Galaxy S21?

Not likely. While this is possible, there may be some annoyances, but Samsung seems to be saving the Galaxy S21 unveils for next Thursday 14 January, when it will have another live stream on its phones.
