Samsung has made many changes this year regarding its smartphone range. The most important is the fact that it brought the S Pen to the S Series, but another one that deserves to be highlighted is the lack of charger from the retail package with its new flagships: Galaxy S21, S21 +, en S21 Ultra. It seems that these changes will be extended to other Galaxy devices, and we are not just talking about adding the S Pen to more smartphones and tablets. Apparently Samsung is planning to ship more of its emerging smartphones without a charger.
In a statement published earlier this week, Samsung’s Roh confirmed that its company is working to remove not only chargers but also headphones from retail packages from its smartphones.
We believe that the gradual removal of charging plugs and earphones from our packaging in the packaging can help address sustainable consumption issues and remove the pressure that consumers feel to continually receive unnecessary charging accessories with new phones.
