It usually takes Android OEMs to get the latest version of the operating system on older devices, but Samsung is getting better and better every year. For Android 11, the official update schedule kicked off in early December and is still going out. Here is every device that Samsung has updated so far on Android 11.
This article will be constantly updated with new devices when it launches.
Samsung’s Android 11 update includes the typical features you know and like about Google’s update, including notification enhancements, Message Bubbles, and many more. One that was unfortunately cut, however, was Google’s useful keyboard shortcut for smart devices. Shame.
On top of Android 11, the smartphone giant also includes One UI 3.0, which includes all the features that Galaxy owners have known and loved for years, as well as some new additions and a fresh coat of paint on the design as a whole. . It’s a sleek look that continues to refine Samsung’s work on Android, which has honestly gotten really good especially over the past few years.
So, which devices get Android 11? Samsung has confirmed updates for quite a few devices from the S, Note, Z and A series, but even more devices are likely to be updated over time. Here’s what’s been updated so far.

– Galaxy S20 FE
Although this Android 11 update has yet to arrive in the US, the Galaxy S20 FE started picking up its One UI 3.0 update in Russia on December 18, while the UK, India and Germany also saw updates. The rollout is expected to continue in other countries in the coming weeks.
– Galaxy Note 20 Series
Around December 14, the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 saw Ultra updates on Android 11 on AT&T. Verizon, T-Mobile and unlocked variants have followed since.
– NEW 30/30: Galaxy Note 10 Series
To close 2020, Samsung is launching Android 11 and One UI 3.0 on the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+. So far, the update has been noticed in Germany, but it will be distributed to more regions in the coming days and weeks.
– NEW 1/1: Galaxy Z Flip and Flip 5G
Samsung has traditionally been a bit slow in updating the foldable to new versions of Android, but the Galaxy Z Flip 5G has broken the rule. The update of the device starts on December 21 in Switzerland, but has not been confirmed in other regions.
Just before the new year, Samsung also started implementing the Android 11 update for its regular Galaxy Z Flip with an approximately 2 GB update.
– Galaxy S10 Lite
You would probably expect the Galaxy S10 series to be updated fairly quickly, but no one expected the slightly odd Galaxy S10 Lite to be the first one. Still, this is what we saw on December 22nd when the device picked up Android 11 in India and Spain. The update has also since been noticed in the US, UK and Germany.
Update 12/30: This article has been updated with information about the Galaxy Note 10 implementation, as well as more local details on other devices.
