Saks Fifth Avenue joins the high schools to a recent list of minorities and brands like Macy’s, Versace and Prada that will be able to use animal skins, and respond to consumer opinion.
Saks Fifth Avenue says it will gradually eliminate the use of chips for the end of the 2022 fiscal year. This includes the associated and branded markets that are on the Internet and on sale. As part of the decision, Saks will eliminate the sale of products made with animals that will be created to be used on the skin or water products with animal skin. The oveja, cabra, ganado, plumón, plumas, cuero and synthetic skin products continue to be sold online and in stores, where the minorist lives in New York.
Saks Fifth Avenue also plans to close all its toll booths for the 2021 fiscal year.
“In the wake of the Saks Fifth Avenue experience, we will evaluate a series of factors in making decisions about our particularity, including the preferences of customers and social exchanges,” said Tracy Margolies, Saks Commercialization Director, in a statement. “We recognize that trends are constantly evolving and that the sale of piles is becoming an important social problem.”
