Saina Nehwal is one of the star badminton players in the country. Bollywood is taking a biopic of her life and Parineeti Chopra is starring in the film. The title, Saina, appears on the internet today. The trailer has the true feel of a sports drama that is enough to inspire the viewers.
The preview of the film begins with Parineeti Chopra addressing different gender roles to boys and girls in our society. And then we show how she plays on a badminton court. Parineeti did enough research and homework before taking on this role. The actress got the dress, the hairstyle and the facial expressions of Saina properly.
The preview also indicated that the film captures the highs and lows of Saina Nehwal’s life.
Manav Kaul will be seen casting the role of Pullela Gopichand, Saina’s coach. Gulshan Kumar & T-Series Films presents the film in association with Front Foot Pictures. Saina is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Sujay Jairaj and Rasesh Shah. The biography, directed by Amole Gupte, starring Parineeti Chopra and as SAINA, music by Amaal Mallik will be released on March 26, 2021.
