Ryan García and Javier Fortuna agree to play in Verano

Ligero weightlifter Ryan García and former champion Javier Fortuna agreed on the terms for a game this summer, confirmed a source to ESPN.

In March, the CMB ordered Garcia to play against Fortuna in defense of the CMB’s Premier League title. The winner is likely to be on hand to sign Devin Haney, who has the highest ranking of the sanctioned body in the 135-book division.

The show has seemed a bit unfocused in recent episodes, but it’s likely to happen on ESPN that it’s likely to happen on July 10, when UFC 264 closes with a trilogy between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier. The García-Fortuna note was first reported by The Athletic.

Garcia (21-0, 18 KOs) came away with a single victory over Luke Campbell in January, which was more than a year’s young joven’s career. Fortuna (36-2-1, 25 KO’s), who once was the junior lightweight champion, won three consecutive games with no competition against Adrian Granados in 2018.

The development of the firefighters produces exactly two weeks in advance of a monetary offer offered by the promoters of García and Fortuna without the need to agree.

Garcia, who has one of the best social media in boxing, has been around for a long time as one of the best prospects for Golden Boy Promotions. García derrotó at Campbell with a technical knockout in the seventh inning and traversed a large hole in the body, the fifth consecutive victory of Garcia at knockout.
