Russell Wilson omitted the Seahawks’ season ticket letter

This season, there was a new Chicago Bears quarterback almost every week. From Deshaun Watson to Matthew Stafford to Derek Carr to Carson Wentz to Sam Darnold, it was a big ride for the fans.

But one quarterback who has been linked with the Bears for the past few weeks is Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson – and it does not look like it will lose steam any time soon.

Not only has the Bears been named one of the four potential landing spots, but there has also been a lot of talk about what Wilson would like with the Bears, including a historic franchise and a few pieces they have in place.

This Wilson-to-the-Bears conversation means nothing if the Seahawks do not intend to trade him. This appears to be the case, although they have brought in phone calls from teams, which Chicago apparently includes.

But according to reports, things were tense between both sides, as Wilson publicly indicated he was not happy with the lack of protection against his offensive line in Seattle, and the Seahawks were not happy with the verdict.

Now, something new has the internet buzzing. The Seahawks posted a letter to season ticket holders, in which they actually welcomed the fans and looked at the future of the franchise.

Interestingly, Wilson was not mentioned in the letter.

It can now indicate something or it indicates absolutely nothing, it’s all a matter of how you look at it. But it certainly shocked Seahawks fans who read a letter about the future of their team – citing the likes of DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett – without mentioning their franchise quarterback.

With reports indicating that the Bears are trading the preference for Wilson, the conversation is not soon dying out. And this letter only adds fuel to the fire speculated about Wilson’s future in 2021 and beyond.
