OLED iPad Pro Mac

According to the report, the first of these devices an OLED screen will likely be a 10.9-inch ‌iPad‌, presumably an updated version of the iPad Air. It is said that the updated ‌iPad‌ will be in production in the fourth quarter of this year, with a launch taking place in early 2022. In addition to the 10.9-inch ‌iPad‌, Apple is also considering OLED screens for the 12.9-inch iPad Pro and the 16-inch MacBook Pro.

The sources indicated that the first device assembled with an OLED panel is likely to be a 10.9-inch ‌iPad‌, which will begin production of the volume in the fourth quarter of 2021 for an official release in 2022 .

The US brand is also reportedly considering accepting OLED panels for its 12.9-inch ‌iPad Pro‌ and 16 to 17-inch MacBook Pro available in 2022, but has not made a final decision, the sources said.

While rumors about OLED screens for larger Apple laptops have only recently begun to appear, the company has been moving to mini-LED screens on its iPads and Macs for some time. DigiTimes says that the two display technologies will coexist, “each targeting different customer groups.”

A number of sources, including DigiTimes indicated that a 12.9-inch ‌iPad Pro‌ with a mini-LED screen will be available in the first half of this year, and DigiTimes says 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models coming in the second half of the year will also use mini-LEDs.
