So we hear that the Philadelphia Eagles are expected to trade with Carson Wentz in the coming days. But what exactly are the Birds going to get for him?
So much is not yet entirely clear. However, there are rumors about what a potential Wentz trading package might look like. And specifically as far as the Chicago Bears are concerned.
On Saturday morning, Windy City Gridiron contributor Brandon Robinson spoke about the Eagles winning a first round in 2021 (No. 20), a third round in 2022 and Nick Foles in exchange for Wentz.

But then it turns out that Tarik Cohen denies that he is going anywhere!

So, who knows what’s really going on here.
Let’s say the Eagles for the sake of discussion is trades Wentz and a pick for Cohen, Nick Foles, and a first-round pick. How do you feel about the offer?
The first thought that comes to mind is: what is the choice that is sending the Eagles back to Chicago? I saw something about how Philly could share their 2021 pick in the second round with the Bears, and the Eagles in fact from no. 37 to number 20 will move. choose. Not an ideal return for Wentz. But hey, maybe that’s not the scenario the Eagles would be in. Maybe they don’t have to make such a choice.
Cohen is an interesting inclusion in a package for Wentz. If he trades with him, the Bears, who currently exceed $ 10 million, will lose $ 2 million. From the Eagles’ point of view, it’s not hard to see why they would be interested in him. Cohen is probably the player the Eagles wanted when they had to deal with Donnel Pumphrey in the 2017 NFL Draft. The 25-year-old is an offensive player in the Darren Sproles form and he can also return penalties. Nick Sirianni, who worked with Nyheim Hines on the Colts, probably would not mind fitting a similar player in form in Philly and Cohen. He was signed until 2023.
We already wrote some thoughts on Saturday about a potential Foles return. The downside to this is that there are reasons he recovers, and that it does not make sense.
Again, it is not as if these provisions have yet been officially finalized. And maybe it’s not even the Bears that end up trading for Wentz, though I think so. I think it will not be too long before we see what happens. In the meantime, let’s talk about what could takes place.
