According to a new rumor, Battlefield 6 could launch on Xbox Game Pass on the first day.
The claim comes from the Xbox-centric podcast, Xbox Era, just below, in which a commentator reveals that Battlefield 6 could come at the launch of Xbox Game Pass.

Shortly afterwards, deepened battlefield delicacy Tom Henderson throws his weight behind the podcast host’s comments, in a tweet that simply uses the Robert Redford nod poison. That could is read as a sign that Henderson believes the rumor is true, or it can also be seen as the fun that is just excited about the idea of Battlefield 6 starting on Game Pass.
Of course, nothing has been confirmed by EA or Xbox at the moment and Battlefield 6 has not even been announced by the former company yet. Last year, EA quietly revealed that Battlefield 6 will launch on PS5 and Xbox Series X at some point during the next year in 2021.
Since then, there have been a platoon of leaks and rumors surrounding the game. One player claims that Battlefield 6 could support up to 128 players on massive multiplayer maps, and another rumor claims that the game would return to a modern environment, deviating from the 20th century settings of Battlefield 1 and Battlefield 5. Earlier this year, another joker claimed that the unannounced game would take place about a decade from now, and would include robots, drones, and other slightly futuristic methods of warfare.
Whether the latest rumor is true or not, we’ll just have to wait and see what EA has in mind. For now, however, Battlefield 6 is on track to launch later this year in 2021, and recently received support from developer Criterion, who was recruited by EA to get the shooter across the finish line.
