The German game creator will soon undergo a medical examination and say to the Turkish outlet NTV: ‘I am so happy. I’m a fan of Fenerbahce. God wanted me to play football in Fenerbahce. I’m proud.
“I am coming to Istanbul with my family tonight, thank God for giving me the opportunity to represent this club. I will wear the shirt with pride.”

Arsenal are monitoring Brentford’s forward Ivan Toney for a transfer in a future window, reports the Daily Express .
Toney, 24, enjoyed the first half of the season with 16 goals and four assists in 22 championship games.
He is under contract with the bees until 2025 after joining Peterborough last summer for an initial sum of £ 5 million.
Toney’s impressive performances in the second tier mean that Arsenal, along with West Ham’s rivals in the Premier League, are watching the Englishman.

Barca rejects Neto’s transfer request

Ronald Koeman says Barcelona have rejected a transfer request from the club’s No.2 goalkeeper, Neto.
The Brazilian shooting stopper would like a new challenge after a year and a half of supporting Marc-Andre ter Stegen as the first choice.
Neto has been linked with Arsenal as they search Europe for a goalkeeper to compete with Bernd Leno, but Koeman insists the 31-year-old is too important to leave Camp Nou.
The Barca boss said: “It is true that his representative asked the club to leave and that we said no, because he is an important goalkeeper for us and we want to be very well covered in every position.”

Villas-Boas acknowledges interest in Sanson

Marseille boss Andre Villas-Boas has confirmed there is interest from Premier League clubs in midfielder Morgan Sanson.
Arsenal, Tottenham, West Ham and Aston Villa are believed to be interested in Sanson, who has five goals in 11 Ligue 1 matches this season.
“We will see. The transfer window is open, Sanson is a highly regarded player. Officially we did not receive any offers unless it happened during the match,” Villas-Boas said.
“He is a boy who is interested in English teams because of his qualities, and it is possible that something could happen.”
