Rocket League developer Psyonix announced today that it will partner with a car company to add an actual truck. Unfortunately, this is not the Tesla Cybertruck. This is the Ford F-150. A Rocket Leaguetheme F-150 is available for a limited time, from February 20 to February 28.
The Ford F-150 RLE bundle is available in the article store with its own page and costs 1500 credits. The bundle includes the Ford F-150 RLE (pictured below), a set of standard and special edition wheels, boost, sound engine, player banner and posters, all pulled to the special edition pickup.
As someone who loves bowls, I cry tears of joy because I can use one in Rocket League. There’s something hilarious about the fact that I can drive a rocket-powered F-150 into the game and do ridiculous trick shots with it. I really want to see other car companies like Chevrolet and Toyota add their trucks. Seriously imagine entering the Tesla Cybertruck Rocket League; I will never stop laughing.
In addition to a new vehicle for limited time, Psyonix and Ford are also launching a new two-day event featuring the best freestyle in Rocket League will compete and demonstrate their best moves for the chance to win a real Ford F-150 in 2021.
