Rock & Roll Hall of Fame of Fame 2021 nominees announced

If you have not guessed yet, Jay-Z, Carole King and Tina Turner are one of those offered for induction this year.

Other nominees include Mary J. Blige, Kate Bush, Devo, Foo Fighters, The Go-Go’s, Iron Maiden, Chaka Khan, Fela Kuti, LL Cool J, New York Dolls, Rage Against the Machine, Todd Rundgren and Dionne Warwick.

Inauguration Ceremony for the Hall of Fame

Inductees will be announced in May. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 2021 inauguration ceremony will take place in the fall in Cleveland, Ohio.

To be eligible, an individual artist or band must have released their first commercial recording at least 25 years prior to the year of nomination.

The public again has the opportunity to participate in the induction selection process.

Fans can vote every day on April 30 at the Hall of Fame grounds or at the museum in Cleveland. The top five artists chosen by the public will consist of a ‘fans’ vote’ which will be discussed with the other ballot papers to select the 2021 candidates.
