The candidate for the Al Pedaldry of San Pedro Sula by the Yanista Movement of the Liberal Party, Roberto Contreras, renounced the cargo for what he aspired to.
The company will not participate in the primary elections for personal reasons, according to a statement from the national commission of the Yanista Movement.
“Our friend Roberto Contreras, running for mayor of San Pedro Sula, has decided not to take part in the electoral process for personal reasons, to increase his love and intentions to change the Honduras rumble,” he announced.
“We would like to thank the teams of Roberto Contreras Continuing to respond to our candidacy for the presidency of Honduras, Yani Rosenthal to record the change that Honduras needed “, informed the communiqué.
Contreras también había renunciado a su pre-presidential candidacy when iba competed for the movement “Súbete al tren de la victoria” in the Liberal Party.
The Electoral National Council (CNE) of Honduras conducted the convocation on 14 September Primary elections which will take effect on March 14, 2021.
