Buccaneers tighthead Rob Gronkowski has said he wants to wait before making future career decisions, but he sounds like a man who wants to stay where he is in 2021.
On the NFL Network, he was asked if he would return to Tampa Bay with Tom Brady for another year, to which Gronkowski replied, “Yes, you must.”
Gronkowski becomes an unlimited free agent in March, but he does not sound like he feels the need to buy him from the highest bidder. He sounds like he wants to play for the Buccaneers, and with Brady, like every year of his career.
“I feel like this team is built to win at the moment. It was put together this year to win now, ‘Gronkowski said. “I could definitely see this team coming back with a lot of talent and will have a successful run with me again next year.”
Win or lose, it does not sound like today will be Gronkowski’s last game.
