The young company is currently trying to complete a factory and three different vehicles while planning a trip to a Wall Street stock exchange. Tesla currently has 9,723 fast charging cords in the US, according to the latest version from the Department of Energy. The other networks together have only 7589 outlets for public charges, and they are much less widely distributed.
