Riot Games Introduces One of the Latest Skin Lines League of Legends: Shan Hai.
The skinline, which features many traditional Oriental themed elements, features new skins for Cho’Gath, Jhin, Nautilus and Neeko. Among the four champions, Cho’Gath is striking as the Shan Hai skin range launches its first new cosmetic in more than two years.
The Shan Hai skinline was announced today along with another set of skins coming to the game called Ruined. In total, Riot unveils seven new skins coming to them League.
According to Riot, the new Shan Hai skins have a ‘scorching’ theme. Many of the animations on display in today’s PBE preview contain a fiery flair. Abilities like Jhin’s Deadly Flourish and Nautilus’s Riptide also all break out with a burst of flame.
It is unclear when these skins will hit the live servers, but judging by their thematic elements, it may be fair to predict that it will be a part of the 2021 Lunar Revel event. Since 2011, the game event has traditionally coincided with the Chinese New Year.
A new season of the rankings in League begins on January 8th. Players can most likely expect more updates on these skins over the course of the 2021 season.
