Ricki Lake gets hooked.
On Saturday, the 52-year-old talk show host announced her engagement to boyfriend Ross Burningham and shared the exciting news on Instagram.
‘Friends, I’m so excited to share good news! I’m engaged! “Lake exclaimed.
“This is Ross. He is my person. He is wonderful, ”she continues.
In a recent interview with People, Lake said that she and Burningham, who have been dating for more than a year, “literally pinch ourselves that we found each other at this point in our lives.”
‘We both, newly emptied, feel like we’re kids again. We are filled with gratitude and joy for what is to come, ”Lake told the publication.
Lake was previously married to Rob Sussman, with whom she shares two sons, from 1994 to 2004. She later married Christian Evans from 2012 to 2015. Evans died of suicide in 2017 after a long battle with bipolar disorder.
Over the weekend, Lake told fans she was looking forward to the next chapter with Burningham.
“Our next chapter will definitely be a good one,” Lake added on Instagram, along with the hashtags ‘heart open’, ‘life is beautiful’ and ‘I believe in love’.
