Rhea Ripley won Asuka’s Raw Women’s Championship on Raw Two that night WrestleMania 37.
They all wrestled in the first Mae Young Classic in 2017, all spent time (or still are) grinding in NXT, and all have achieved great things in their young careers for pro wrestling. They are, in short, the future.
And the future looks damn sure.
Therefore, it felt like a very special moment when Belair and Ripley made a surprising appearance on NXT television this week to stand with Gonzalez and celebrate their joint success (while of course they also aired NXT):
