When Capcom debuted the villain of Resident Evil Village, a straight tower vampire woman named Lady Alcina Dimitrescu, they should have known how, the RE fanbase would be eager to know more about her, right? With her WNBA crushing height and dominant personality, Lady Dimitrescu quickly became an internet phenomenon, and fans were very excited to learn exactly how tall she is.
Resident Evil fans finally have their answer. RE Village art director Tomonori Tanako has a statement thank fans for their interest in Village and shed some light on the matter.
“Lady Dimitrescu and her daughters have received a lot of attention recently, far more than we expected,” Tanako said. ‘It’s great that they can take the spotlight as icons of Resident Evil Village. Lady Dimitrescu in particular received a lot of housekeeping both at home and abroad, which made us all in the development team very happy. I hear her height is something important … ”
“If you include her hat and high heels,” Tanako continued, “[Lady Dimitrescu is] 2.9 meters (about 9’6 “) long.”
So there you have it. Capcom eventually released fans from the horny jail and then threw them into the horny wine cellar. We look forward to being captured repeatedly by Resident Evil’s great lady.
Just for the record, here are some things that Lady Dimitrescu is taller than: a Christmas tree, Andre the Giant, Shaq, a king-size bed standing vertically, or most importantly, the truly tallest man or woman ever recorded is.
