A new and official Resident Evil Village a promotional image from Japan has surfaced online and is circulating to leak an important and unannounced character that Capcom is presumably trying to keep secret or save for the final trailer of the game. The new game that is more or less Resident Evil 8 is only a month away from release on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S and PC, but there seem to be main characters we do not know about.
Over on Twitter, user Masa shared a new promotional image released by Capcom for the game, in Japan. The image features Ethan Winters – the protagonist – and his baby Rose, carried by Chris Redfield. And in addition, there is also a prominent but strongly obscured character who wears a kind of helmet / mask. If you do not recognize the character, it is because it has not yet been announced, and at the time of publication it has not yet been corrected.

Although this picture has been floating around for a few days, Capcom did not address it with any comments or additional information, leaving fans with nothing but speculation. About who it may be, no one knows definitively, but some believe it is ‘Mother Miranda’, to which Lady Dimitrescu refers in one of the fans of the game.
Resident Evil Village will be released on May 7 via PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X / S. Below you can read more about the game:
