Resident Evil Village computer system requirements, open multiplayer beta dates open

The PC system requirements have been announced to Resident Evil Village, as well as dates for the Re: Fresh multiplayer Open Beta, which starts on April 7, and the minimum and recommended system requirements can be seen on the Japanese pre-order page. Players need 8 GB of memory and a 4 GB VRAM GPU like the GTX 1050 TI to run the game at the minimum specifications. The specs point out that 1080p 60 FPS gaming is impossible if players check the “Performance Focus” setting.

Capcom says 16GB of RAM is needed for the recommended experience, as well as a GTX 1070 for 1080p 60 FPS gaming with the “Focus on Screen Quality” setting. Obviously, players who want to turn on Ray detection need a compatible card. RTX 3070 owners, for example, will be able to achieve 4K 60 FPS gaming. In addition to the system requirements, Capcom has revealed the Open Beta test dates for Re: Verse, the multiplayer component of Resident Evil: Village where players can embody fan-favorite characters and bioweapons. The beta test is available from April 7, 2021 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Pro, Xbox One, Xbox One X and PC via Steam. Next generation gamers will have the Xbox One / PS4 version of the game on their consoles.

The Beta will be open from April 7 at 23:00 in the Pacific to April 10 at 23:00 in the Pacific (it is April 8 at 02:00 East / 07:00 UK / 18:00 AEDT until April 11 at the same time). You can pre-download the demo from April 5th (or April 6th in the UK and Australia).

Resident Evil Village will be launched on May 7, 2021. Capcom recently warned fans about scam emails offering early access to the game.
