Capcom says 16GB of RAM is needed for the recommended experience, as well as a GTX 1070 for 1080p 60 FPS gaming with the “Focus on Screen Quality” setting. Obviously, players who want to turn on Ray detection need a compatible card. RTX 3070 owners, for example, will be able to achieve 4K 60 FPS gaming. In addition to the system requirements, Capcom has revealed the Open Beta test dates for Re: Verse, the multiplayer component of Resident Evil: Village where players can embody fan-favorite characters and bioweapons. The beta test is available from April 7, 2021 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Pro, Xbox One, Xbox One X and PC via Steam. Next generation gamers will have the Xbox One / PS4 version of the game on their consoles.
The Beta will be open from April 7 at 23:00 in the Pacific to April 10 at 23:00 in the Pacific (it is April 8 at 02:00 East / 07:00 UK / 18:00 AEDT until April 11 at the same time). You can pre-download the demo from April 5th (or April 6th in the UK and Australia).
Resident Evil Village will be launched on May 7, 2021. Capcom recently warned fans about scam emails offering early access to the game.
