Resident Evil Outrage, a Nintendo Switch-focused entry in the series that was originally revealed by a major leak, is going to be a tiger game, according to Code Geronica, according to rumors circulating online.
Talk on Twitter, Skemer Golem, who had previously revealed correct information regarding the Resident Evil series, revealed that while the game is not going to be a numbered entry in the series, it will still be an important title, like Code Veronica.
It had a higher budget and much more time than Rev 1 or 2 because it has been in dev for about 4 years and a budget closer to Village. I think they may not use the Rev Name in part.
It would be more like a Code Veronica title than anything https://t.co/WcaHcZVMZA

Dusk Golem also touched on the main characters of Resident Evil Outrage. Rebecca Chambers, who made her debut in the series in the original Resident Evil, will be one of the main characters as previously confirmed, and the other two protagonists will also be both characters, although the insider did not confirm their identity.
Yes. I first heard from Rev 3 in 2017 that it would play Rebecca, and I’ve been updated a few times over the years that it’s still a Rebecca game. I’m half aware of who the 2nd and 3rd protagonists are too, both characters returning, but these lips are zipped for now. https://t.co/jkrqepL93F

As previously revealed, Resident Evil Outrage will be powered by the RE Engine, specifically the Switch-compatible version that will also drive Monster Hunter Rise. Given the console’s specifications, the game will not be the most beautiful Resident Evil game, but it will still look good on Nintendo’s console.
Outrage 100% is RE Engine, although the RE Engine that is compatible with Switch like Monster Hunter Rise. It will not be the most beautiful RE game, but it will still look damn good, especially on Switch. https://t.co/xRJ8fO6rvg

No matter what type of game it is going to be, Resident Evil Outrage is released after Resident Evil Village enters the market. The eighth major entry in the series will be released worldwide on May 7 on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and Xbox One.
- Resident Evil Village is the eighth major installment in the flagship Resident Evil series, while the Resident Evil 7 bio-hazard has ceased.
- Next generation technology – a new engine coupled with the next generation of power, delivers photorealistic graphics that bring the shady village and its haunted inhabitants to life.
- Famous faces and new enemies – Chris Redfield was usually a hero in the Resident Evil series, but his appearance in the Resident Evil town apparently obscures him in sinister motives.
- First-person action – players take on the role of Ethan Winters and experience every close battle and frightening pursuit from a first-person perspective.
