Resident Evil actor Chad Rook has unveiled the first poster of the upcoming live movie recharge! The image is similar to the Resident Evil 4 PAL subject art, with a forest over a red background, with the names of several characters appearing in the film. It is noteworthy that this image was not shared by the official Resident Evil Twitter account or Screen Gems. Therefore, fans should take this image with a grain of salt until it is officially confirmed. However, it certainly looks legal, and it definitely works well as a preview for the movie!
The poster can be found in the Tweet below.

The poster does an excellent job of setting the tone for the film. The coloring gives a strong horror movie feel, and the appearance of the character names should give the audience an idea that this reload will be very different from previous Resident Evil movies. This is a subtle poster, but one that could help create the anticipation for the film before it is released later this year!
In the film, Smoke plays STARS teammate Richard Aiken. With Smoking, Kaya Scodelario (Claire Redfield,) Robbie Amell, (Chris Redfield), Hannah John-Kamen (Jill Valentine), Avan Jogia (Leon S. Kennedy), Tom Hopper (Albert Wesker) and Neal McDonough (William) will join Be smoking. Birkin). The film is written and directed by Johannes Roberts and produced by Robert Kulzer.
While previous Resident Evil movies played quick and loose adaptation elements of Capcom’s video game franchise, the upcoming reload looks much more faithful. The film will apparently cover the events from the first two games in the series, with a cast that reflects the fact. Previous Resident Evil movies have revolved around the original character Alice, but it seems like the new movie would rather put the STARS team in focus. Ordinary fans of the series should be very happy about the decision, and it will be interesting to see how faithful the final product will be!
Resident Evil appears on September 3, 2021 in theaters. You can see our previous coverage of the film here.
