ESPN’s Brady Henderson reports that Ryan Neal has been hosted by the Seattle Seahawks and will therefore return to Seattle for a third season.
Another exclusive rights agent the Seahawks offered told me that Ryan Neal is the defensive back. This was also expected. Neal started four times last season, while Jamal Adams was injured and had two interceptions, one of which resulted in a win over Dallas.

Neal was an important low point on the Seahawks last season and started in four games. His biggest game of the season, as Henderson mentions in his tweet, was when he persuaded Dak Prescott by less than a minute to secure a 7-point victory for the Seahawks over Cowboys Week 3.
Seattle has now drafted three exclusive rights agencies: Kyle Fuller, Bryan Mone, and now Ryan Neal. Patrick Carr and defensive backs Jayson Stanley and Linden Stephens have yet to be offered.
Fuller, I was somewhat surprised by, but Mone and Neal had the most important roles in defense last year and their tender contracts did not surprise me. We are now just five days away from the start of the NFL Free Agency on March 17th.
