The Vikings are working to sharpen a defense that finished 27th in allowed yards and 29th points allowed last season.

They agreed earlier Monday to the former Giants defense attack.

Now NFL Media’s Tom Pelissero reports on the Vikings add former Chargers linebacker Nick Vigil for a one-year deal that is guaranteed more than $ 1 million.

Vigil, 27, spent just one season with the Chargers. He started 15 games with two starts, while acting on 312 defensive tackles and 216 on special teams.

Vigil scored 50 tackles, two sacks and a forced fumble.

He started his career in Cincinnati after the Bengals made him a third choice in 2016.
