The Texans have a new punter.
Houston continues with a restoration schedule and signs Cameron Johnston for a $ 8 million three-year contract with a $ 1 million bonus, according to Aaron Wilson of Houston Chronicle.
The Eagles chose not to host Johnston earlier this month after being the club’s leading player for the last three years. Johnston averaged 47.0 yards per point in that team.
Houston has now added 24 new players through trade and free agency, and has re-signed cornerback Vernon Hargreaves.
