The Texans have not yet appointed a new head coach, but they are holding one member of the 2020 coaching team.
Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reported that the Texans refused requests from other teams to interrogate the abusive coordinator and coach Tim Kelly. Kelly has just finished his second season as coordinator and his first season as the attacking player of the team.
The denial comes at a time when the head coach’s attention is being drawn to quarterback Deshaun Watson’s dissatisfaction with the way the organization handled the search this month.
