Everyone thought the Eagles would trade Zach Ertz at some point in the off-season. All include Zach Ertz, who admitted at the end of the season that he did not know if he would stay in Philadelphia.

The one or the other point seems to be getting closer and closer.

Michael Silver of NFL Media reports that several teams have called the Eagles over Ertz and a deal could take place in the coming days.

The Eagles will look very different in 2021, with coach Doug Pederson, fullback Carson Wentz and receiver DeSean Jackson among those who have left. Ertz appears the next one outside the door.

Ertz (30) made just 36 receptions for 335 yards and one power play in 11 games, the worst statistical season in his eight-year career.

Ertz will earn a base salary of $ 8.25 million in 2021 while carrying a cap of $ 12.5 million and a death capitalization of $ 7.8 million.

The Eagles have salaries and Dallas Goedert is in the position, so Ertz will not play in Philadelphia again this season. The only question is what the Eagles can get for him.
