Report: Seahawks sign Ahkello Witherspoon

The Seahawks lost starting lineup Shaquill Griffin to the Jaguars earlier Tuesday. With one player from the defensive back room and Quinton Dunbar perhaps there, the Seahawks began to replenish.

Seattle is expect to sign the cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon, Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, reports.

The 49ers made Witherspoon a third round out of Colorado in 2017. He played 11 games and started four last season, with a total of 20 tackles, an interception and four passes.

Witherspoon (25) made 117 tackles, 24 pass breakups, four interceptions, an offense and a forced whisper in his four seasons in San Francisco. He started in 33 games with 33 starts.
