According to Jordan Rodrigue of TheAthletic.com, a trade sent off by Jared Goff was discussed between the Rams and several teams. One of the teams is perhaps the Lions, who reportedly had talks with the Rams about a trade in which Matthew Stafford was involved.
It has become obvious that the Rams simply no longer want the hook for Goff’s contract, which will carry more than $ 43 million in guaranteed payments in 2021 and 2022.
But why would any other team want Goff’s contract? His performance has been mediocre the last two seasons, and although he helped the Rams get to the Super Bowl after the 2018 season, it’s hard not to think that a whole host of fullbacks could play just as well as Goff in Sean McVay’s attack. .
